Hi y’all!!

How are you all doing today? I hope everyone had a great day and I hope you all are looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow! The quote I will be sharing with you guys in this post is a quote I found on Pinterest. I am not super sure who wrote it but it perfectly describes my approach to life.

Life is good because I decided to make it that way Β – #bossbabe

So, last weekend I decided to go for Glowfair in Ottawa. It is an event that took place on June 16 – June 17. It was a free event that had about 8 different blocks of activities (Sound Board, Energy Zone, Art Chaos, Bizarre Bazaar, Glow Fit, Marketplace, Canadiana and Glow Forest). Each of these blocks had their own schedules and depending on your interests you could explore any one of them. In this blog post, I will be sharing with you guys my experience at Glowfair this year with pictures.

I went for Glowfair with one of my best buddies, Wiley. Usually, when I go for events in Ottawa, I try to go with a friend because I can be shy sometimes and also I find that I have a lot more fun when I go for events with friends. So, Glow Fair was scheduled to start at 6pm, but I didn’t get there until 7pm. So, the first thing I did was to get the wristbands that would allowΒ me to get drinks so I wouldn’t have to wait in line when the crowd came in later.

Then I took a tour of every block just to get a feel of the festival and also what each block had to offer and which of them I would be interested in exploring.

After walking around for about an hour and a half on my little adventures around all the different things that Glowfair had to offer, I started to get hungry. So I stopped at a CaribbeanΒ restaurant by the festival to have a plantain break. πŸ˜‰

Ended my night with DJ Vilify at the Soundboard section. It was just a perfect way to end my day – dancing and having fun.

Final thoughts, it was an amazing festival. I had loads of fun. It was very organised, and it was just a good way to get to do something fun in the city! Hopefully, we have this again next year, and if we do, I will remember to wear good walking shoes and also charge my phone so I can share more amazing pictures with you guys.

Are you guys looking forward to any free events in Ottawa this summer? I would love to know. Please share them in the comment section! πŸ™‚

Well, until next time my friends. πŸ™‚

Lots of Love,
